Villagers Want to be a Model Village

A recent college graduate was so inspired by the practical TCD training that he inspired his village to become a model village.

Change is good and transformation is even better! Attaf* belongs to a village of Khipro and he graduated from the local government college. Since our Transformational Community Development (TCD) worker, Paul, visited their village to introduce the TCD training, Attaf is very interested in the long term transformation of his village.

Attaf said, “In the village, we are 19 families and have resources, but we never had a chance to learn how to use our local resources. Since we are participating in TCD Lessons, we have committed to develop our village in five key sectors. We have started a Self-Help group and FAITH (Food Always In The Home) Gardening in our village for Income Generation. Our Goal is to develop all the 19 families in all five  key sectors of Water, Food, Wellness, Income, and Education so that we become a model village to impact in other villages.”
