Daya*, a mother of three daughters from Dhedauli Village, once lived in deep poverty. Her family depended on irregular daily labor—washing dishes in other people’s homes and working in fields—just to survive. Many days, there was not enough food, and her children often suffered from hunger. She struggled to send her daughters to school and had no hope for a better future. When illness struck, medical expenses made their situation even more difficult.

Everything began to change when Daya joined the Transformational Community Development (TCD) classes. Through the program, she gained knowledge, confidence, and a new vision for her life. With a small amount of seed money and practical training, she started investing her time in farming.

Today, her life has transformed. She grows wheat and is able to store food for her family throughout the year. Her daughters are now enrolled in school, and the family enjoys a more stable and peaceful life. Daya is no longer trapped in daily survival—she is self-sustainable and hopeful about the future. She has become an inspiration in her community, encouraging others to join TCD and improve their lives. Her journey clearly shows how knowledge, support, and small financial help can bring lasting transformation.
