Dida’s children frequently experienced stomachaches and weakness while walking the long distances they traveled to school. Dida acknowledged his oversight in not filtering the water used for drinking and cooking. However, after attending Transformational Community Development (TCD) meetings, he learned various techniques for water filtration and the importance of handwashing after using the toilet. These practices have significantly improved his family’s health. Additionally, his children are now showing a positive change in attitude and are even encouraging their peers to adopt similar practices.
