We used the month of October to establish contacts in the settlements in Surdulica. People are quite reserved, and interpersonal relations are difficult. We studied lessons and had time together, in larger and smaller groups. We especially had quality time in Masurica where women want to hear more about The Women’s Cycle of Life (WCL) curriculum. Here, women easily leave their husbands and break up the family. In their culture, women have no value, but by studying the Transformational Community Development (TCD) lessons, they realize they have incredible value. They slowly changed their view and passed it onto others. They love TCD lessons.
