A little money has been the key to getting success in my life. Before I joined the Transformational Community Development (TCD) group, my family members went door-to-door to people’s houses and begged for food. Even though we wanted to work, we could not find work. I heard about the TCD program that started in my village. Then I joined the TCD classes. I got the knowledge and ideas of self-sustainability. The committee provided me with seed money. I opened a small shop and started working. This business became successful and helped us to support my family.

Our poor communities never got opportunities and didn’t understand the importance of education. Before we started TCD in that village, most of the children remained at home and played everywhere they wanted. Their parents didn’t care about it. But now parents understand and know the importance of education and send their children to school. Now there is a big change in our community.
