A Well of Hope

Taking even the most frail of them into account, the Bomborma community has chosen a site for their new well.

One of the greatest causes of diseases is unclean water, and the Bomborma community has suffered greatly, struggling over the years on the issue of water. Community members have to trek miles in order to access clean and drinkable water. This has been a burden, but Transformational Community Development (TCD) has brought hope. The community now knows the importance of drinking clean water.

Recently, after several land surveys, a site has been allotted to the drilling of a water well, and the community members have been able to come to an agreement on the best place to situate the water project. The new site is not too far from the village and is walkable for every member of the community.

Bomborma will now experience better health, better hygiene, and a good life. This wouldn’t have been possible without the input of TCD. Water is life!
