“TCD TOT1 training impressed the other five village leaders, and they expressed their desire to do Transformational Community Development (TCD) training in their villages too.”

TCD TOT1 (Training of Trainers 1) training has been completed, and there were 26 participants, out of whom leaders of other villages participated in the training. It was effective and appreciated. Every participant learnt well, participating in every activity during the training. Leaders who participated from other villages were excited to learn more and felt TCD would be important in their communities, too. They were impressed by TCD’s teachings, strategies, and effectiveness. They expressed their desire to do TCD training in their villages, as well.

Our children’s tutoring classes have been effective, and the village children did better in their school education and homework given by their school. Parents were happy with the TCD tutoring classes, seeing improvement in their children’s education.

Sarita*, whose financial status was weak with no family income sources, is now a success in raising income sources with the small help of TCD seed money. Now she has a hen keeping business and has become sustainable. She said, “First of all, I would like to thank the TCD trainer, who gave us good training. At the beginning, I did not know how to do any work, but because of the training I was able to manage my family and to give proper education to my children. I had a lot of problems at home, and the main problem was that I had no working experience in my life. I received a lot of knowledge about how to do business and how to become self-reliant. They trusted me and gave me some seed money. I am hopeful that I will be able to bring my family clothes, food, a copy, and a pen in time.”
