Through active participation in the Transformational Community Development (TCD) program, we witnessed a remarkable transformation in the behavior of a child who used to have frequent conflicts with his siblings and struggled to fulfill his household responsibilities. Before the program, this child lacked sufficient appreciation for his mother’s role and her great, unconditional love. However, thanks to the valuable lessons he received, he began to deeply realize the value of his mother’s presence in his life and the importance of the limitless love she gave him.

The child learned the importance of honoring and being kind to parents and how to express positive feelings towards them. He realized that parents are the foundation of the family, and they must be treated with all respect and appreciation. This new understanding became clearly reflected in his behavior and actions.

This positive change in the child’s behavior was embodied on Mother’s Day, where he took a wonderful initiative to express his love and appreciation for his mother. He gave his mother a beautiful rose as a simple but expressive symbol of his deep feelings towards her. The rose was not just a material gift but a sincere expression of his love, appreciation, and gratitude for what his mother has given and continues to give him. Through this gift and his deep understanding of the need to honor parents, the child affirmed his complete understanding of the lessons he learned from the TCD program.
