Transformational Community Development (TCD) and Empowerment Centers are helping women with sustainable skills to grow and help their families. The sewing training program is providing a successful initiative in empowering women with practical skills and confidence. The graduation of 10 women marks a significant milestone in promoting sustainable development and community upliftment.

Shehia* is a member of the community, which is involved in the TCD program. When she came to know about the Women Empowerment Center, she told the Village Committee that she wanted to attend the Sewing class. Shehia said. “When I joined the Center, I was worried that if I didn’t achieve, how shall I face my community. But when I started doing the work, I got encouragement from my teacher and fellow students. I achieved everything. I now have the confidence and boldness to do everything.” Today, she stands bold and confident believing she can achieve anything and shape her own future.
