As the saying goes, “If you can’t see the target, you won’t hit it.” Seeing successful green houses encouraged villagers to build their own.
Regional Field Leader Josh Inman and his wife came to visit us this past month. It was really helpful because they were able to talk about nutritional diets with the local community members. The local community is interested in building green houses, so that they can grow vegetables for their families.
Josh taught how to make green houses in an in-expensive way. We also realized that there were some people in our community that already had greenhouses, so we visited them to see their design and to learn from their experience. The community is excited to start making their own greenhouses with the Transformational Community Development (TCD) program. The TCD committees continued to work on the park.
Lisa, Josh’s wife, was able to encourage our students by providing English classes for free. She met with our students on three different occasions and helped them improve their English skills. The kids enjoyed learning English with a native speaker.
Thank you!
