On Lake Kwania's shores, 500 Amuk Cell villagers face an impossible daily choice: drink contaminated water or go thirsty. Their lake, once life-giving, now spreads disease throughout the community.

On the shores of Lake Kwania, 500 villagers in Amuk Cell face an impossible choice every day: drink contaminated water or go thirsty. The same lake that provides their drinking water has become a health hazard, spreading disease through the community. Yet in the midst of these challenges, hope has taken root – starting with a village chief who refuses to let his people suffer any longer.

Already, this determined leader has donated land and rallied his community to begin building their first proper Ventilated Improved Pit (VIP) latrine. But they can’t complete this life-saving transformation alone. With your help, we can build on their initiative, constructing three more latrines that will protect families from deadly waterborne illness.
