In the heart of Isiolo town, Maisha Bora Village is thriving, thanks to the remarkable impact of Transformational Community Development (TCD). Despite its urban environment, the village has wholeheartedly embraced agriculture, proving that even in a city setting, farming can flourish and drive economic progress. Through training and support from TCD lessons and a partnership with the Isiolo County Ministry of Agriculture, villagers have eagerly taken up various farming practices. Many families now maintain kitchen gardens, while others have ventured into cash crop production, significantly enhancing food security and community well-being. One example is the Rikani family, who have become a beacon of success, inspiring others with their productive bean harvest.
