Bomborma’s newly formed Transformational Community Development (TCD) Water Committee is concerned about the water situation in the community. In anticipation of outside assistance to help bring an end to the water challenge, the committee and Dendeh, our TCD worker, collaborated with the village chief and elders to identify a location to site a borehole for the near future. They chose an area between the house of the chief and some locals’ residences as their preferred location.
In the meantime, the committee has embarked on a regular clean-up of the water pit, currently the only water source in the village. They have set up plans on how to fence the water pit in order to keep animals away. The Bomborma Water Committee has an urgent plea for the donation of a borehole for the supply of safe and clean drinking water for the residents. This is a very crucial indicator for development.
Thank you!
