“Skill development training is an encouragement for the farmers.” A two-day technical training on skill development about goat keeping, poultry farming, and vegetable farming has been completed. A good trainer from the local government, Sharad*, did excellent training about goat keeping, poultry farming, and vegetable gardening, and every participant learned well, participating in every activity during the training.

There were 28 participants and, among them, 8 were from the neighboring village. It was effective and well received. They were excited to learn more and felt the importance of this training to improve their family income sources. This training will be helpful for them to be successful in goat keeping, poultry, and vegetable farming and be sustainable. They were impressed by the teachings and effectiveness. They are committed and promised to do well in Income Generation.

GHNI provided seed money for seven families this month to help them. Transformational Community Development (TCD) committees expressed their thanks to GHNI for this training and help. Basanti* says that TCD has become an inspiration for their work behavior. It has entirely changed the way of working in the past. Most of the participants agreed with this statement in the meeting. Now they have more ideas and energy to do their business.
