A little seed money changed Sarita’s* life and brought happiness to her family. She had no income sources, and it was difficult to manage the family’s finances. GHNI provided her a little seed money, and she started a goat farm. Now her goat farm is good and has been profitable. She and her family are happy now. Other community members who had no income sources were encouraged to start Income Generation projects.

We helped children to go to school, and Transformational Community Development (TCD) committees also encouraged the community to send their children to school. We taught children an immunisation class. We were successful in sending two children to school this month who were not going to school.

I met one cluster of villages and shared TCD lessons. Most of them became excited about TCD. We first sat and discussed with the group and made a goal on how to work, and then I wrote some problems with them and discussed with the group how to solve the problems, which was very easy because of the TCD lesson.

We managed to conduct different types of health-related training in our village by the TCD committee. We also brought health-related training for the teenagers of the village. Our TCD members gave some pregnancy lessons on how to safely birth a child. They discuss the upcoming generation, how to manage their health, and some about business. Everyone has learned so much from this. Thank you GHNI for your help.
