Not Kid-ding Around

The village of Amolatar is looking forward to an influx of kids–goat babies are incoming!

This month, the Transformational Community Development (TCD) Goat Loan Program continued to make a significant impact in the Amolatar community. Goats were distributed to several TCD group members as part of the ongoing effort to improve livelihoods and promote sustainable development.

The program has proven to be a game changer in the community. A single goat has the potential to reproduce, allowing families to build up small herds over time. As the goats multiply, beneficiaries can eventually pass on offspring to other families, creating a ripple effect of economic empowerment and food security.

In the coming months, the goats are expected to give birth, expanding the benefits even further across the community. This sustainable model not only provides a source of income and nutrition but also fosters a spirit of cooperation and mutual support among community members.

We are grateful for the continued support of the TCD initiative in enabling positive, long-term change in Amolatar.

Thank you!
