Isata could hardly contain her elation at the success of her backyard garden where she planted groundnuts. She is thankful for the eye-opening training and agricultural concepts introduced by Transformational Community Development (TCD), which help her and her community maintain sustainable development and work towards the alleviation of poverty. She excitedly told the TCD champion that the proceeds from her backyard garden have enabled her to enroll her children in school. They were previously unable to pursue their education due to lack of funds, but now, thanks to TCD, she is empowered to invest in their academic journey.

Isata’s is just one of the many families whose livelihoods have improved and whose lives have been positively affected by TCD in this simple yet promising rural community.
