Sharing the Harvest

Cooperative farming brings a community together.

Popou, an active participant in our Transformational Community Development (TCD) group, had an opportunity to be a part of the bountiful cocoa harvest. He offered his services to assist a cocoa farm, laboring as one of the partners. His ingenuity, inspired by TCD’s training and the promotion of unity and togetherness among members of the community, has led to him receiving three bags of the cocoa produce, each weighing about 100 kg and having a market value of around 2,800 CFA ($5) per bag. Indeed there is a great atmosphere of joy and contentment thanks to the mindset of cooperation that TCD fosters.
