Shared Sustainability

Transformed farms are inspiring sustainable development.

Three Komende farmers, Morie, Ansu, and John. - Shared Sustainability

Mr. Morie, Ansu, and John are three individuals who greatly benefited from the Transformational Community Development (TCD) training that introduced better farming practices to the community.

Their farms have become productive by embracing and implementing TCD concepts. However, the community is still facing challenges to follow in their footsteps. Initially, things were not easy for them and others in the community due to erratic weather conditions causing their farms to be waterlogged, but thanks to community support, they were able to tackle these challenges and pursue sustainable development.

Having been inspired by these results, members of the community have indicated interest in actively participating in TCD. During the last TCD meeting, the three men shared the process of how TCD concepts were implemented and plotted the next phase of their agricultural pursuits.

Thank you!
