Income, Stability, and Standing
Being open to new ideas and possibilities is a necessity for generational transformation.
Karim and his wife, Adama, supported their family through petty trading, hawking simple items on a tray throughout their community. When they were introduced to Transformation Community Development (TCD), specifically to the training conducted by the Income Generation and Food Committees, they became open to the possibility of engaging in farming as a viable source of income.
Karim first began farming alone, but as the business continued to flourish, his family joined him. They have been able to raise significant capital for their trading business, scaling up from selling goods on a simple tray to operating from a full table of merchandise. He continues to run the farm business and is eager to explore additional investment opportunities.
TCD has greatly impacted the earning capacity of this family and improved their standard of living, making them upstanding members of their community.
Thank you!
