Despite national unrest, the village progressed with plans for their community projects.
Despite the current upheaval in the nation’s capital of Bissau, Nhoma Village was able to finalize the plans for their dry season vegetable garden. The women have also decided to raise the required 23,200 CFA ($41) to purchase the four bags of cement and remaining poles that are needed to complete the project.
Owing to the recent developments in the nation’s security, it is uncertain how Transformational Community Development (TCD) activities will proceed in the future. This past month, community members deliberated over the best way to move towards attaining sustainable transformational community development.
