Ahmed is a young boy who cannot walk. He had a hard time at school because his wheelchair was not suitable for him. When Martin and Fadi, our wheelchair experts and Transformational Community Development (TCD) workers, heard about him, they contacted his father and arranged a visit. They spent time with Ahmed, talked and played with him, and took his measurements so they could make the right chair. At first, Ahmed and his family felt very discouraged because of his disability, but this visit gave them hope.

After the visit, Martin and Fadi designed a special wheelchair for Ahmed, complete with a table he could use at school. This changed everything for him. Before, he did not want to talk to anyone and felt sad, but once he got his new chair, he became cheerful and hopeful again. He felt close to Martin and Fadi, and his family was filled with joy. We are truly thankful for their hard work and kindness, as they continue to bring hope and happiness to many people with disabilities and their families.
