Saheli* is a Transformational Community Development (TCD) member in our group. Before she joined our TCD group, she had no income sources and it was difficult to manage the family’s basic needs. She was trained in TCD lessons and our TCD committee decided to provide her with a little seed money and trained her to be self-sustainable by doing goat farming. She is doing well, and it is profitable. She is very happy and successful at raising her family income.

Now Saheli sends her children to school and is able to pay school fees and other materials for her children who are doing well. She never thought she would get that  kind of success. She used to think of herself as weak, poor, and shy to stand among the group of people. TCD training classes and follow-up brought transformation to her personal and family life. Now, she has raised her income source and desires to learn more from the TCD. She is ready to share with other village people about what she achieved from the TCD program. Villagers need inspiration and support to do TCD and be transformed. Neighbors became attracted to TCD by looking at Saheli’s changed life. She is trying her best and becoming a model for the community.
