Mr. Tathya* was one of the successful entrepreneurs supported by GHNI. Now he trained and taught Dravin* to start making ornaments. GHNI helped him with a little money to start a shop. Now he is doing his own business and has a good income. It has helped provide food for his family, support their children’s education, and meet his other family expenses. This is how Transformational Community Development (TCD) has impacted people’s lives and brought about change in society.

A TCD refresher training was organized by the GHNI team in our village. There were 15 participants. The TCD lesson problems and solutions opened the eyes of some of the women in the community. A group of village women led by Kwina* started a home-made local spice-making business. They used their knowledge, skills, and local materials according to TCD teaching and lessons. They started a business which is now profitable and became a good income source for them. In this way, the village is transforming because of TCD.
