In the small village of Shri Ambra, residents traditionally relied on weekly and daily markets to purchase vegetables. As part of the Transformational Community Development (TCD) initiative, we introduced the concept of kitchen gardens by providing seeds and guidance. The impact has been remarkable.

Sandeep and his cousins embraced this opportunity, not only growing enough vegetables for their families but also starting to sell their produce. In October, when a weekly market was established in Shri Ambra, they secured a spot and committed to selling their vegetables regularly. This new venture has given them a sustainable source of income and a promising path to self-reliance.
