In a bold move to break the cycle of poverty and generate income, the community in Birini has embarked on an innovative investment initiative. During their monthly Transformational Community Development (TCD) meeting, community members collectively decided to pool their resources to purchase bags of corn, which they plan to store and sell at a profit when market prices rise.

This community-led initiative demonstrates the power of collective action and resourcefulness. The target sum of 50,000 FCFA ($83) is ambitious but achievable. As contributions continue to pour in, the community is one step closer to realizing their goal.
