“Because of Transformational Community Development (TCD), I raised my own family income source and made a good income, and I could afford good meals and education for my children,” said Nihari*.

Nihari is a good woman in the community living with her husband and a son. She and her husband suffered from financial problems. Before they joined the TCD and learned from the TCD lessons, they had no family income sources. It was very hard to maintain basic family needs. It was difficult to provide books and pencils for their child to go to school. She worked hard and did a little better.

There are many types of work related to Income Generation, but she chose to do a micro shop (chicken meat shop). She loved doing it! GHNI helped her with seed money. From the start, her business went well and was profitable. Her husband helps her bring chickens from the market. Now Nihari is very happy.  She is a support and inspiration for her community. Now she can buy good food for her family and can provide educational materials for her son. She has a plan to raise her own chickens and do better on more TCD projects. It is very encouraging.
