The willingness of everyone to volunteer their skills to solve problems moves the village forward.
The Thailand Transformational Community Development (TCD) team has returned to Ratchaboot Village for another development training. As the country enters the hot and dry season, the community has started farming and harvesting. Water development remains a key concern, and they continue to work together to find solutions.
While focusing on water issues, the village committee shared another important need—the construction of a new road next month. The community has already received stone and sand from the local government and funding from forestry officials as a reward for their volunteer work in fire prevention. They plan to use this money to buy cement and mix it with the stone and sand to build a 20-30 meter road. Many villagers have experience in construction, and everyone in the community is ready to contribute their efforts.
We are excited to support this community-led project. It clearly shows their determination to develop and move forward together. This is not just the work of a few individuals—everyone is actively involved in improving their village.
Thank you!
