Stop the Spread!
Learning multiple cleanliness techniques leads to a much healthier community, overall.
This month, a Transformational Community Development (TCD) workshop titled “Health and Hygiene” was conducted in the village of Nuba. The session focused on raising awareness among community members about the importance of personal cleanliness, safe sanitation practices, and preventive health measures. Participants were actively engaged in discussions about handwashing, proper waste disposal, and maintaining clean household environments to prevent the spread of diseases.
The workshop was well-attended and positively received, with participants expressing a deeper understanding of the connection between hygiene and overall health. Practical demonstrations were conducted to ensure the lessons could be applied in daily life. This initiative marks a significant step toward improving public health standards in Nuba, and plans are in place to continue such awareness efforts in the coming months.
Thank you!
