Training on beekeeping was effective and helpful for beekeepers to improve their skills and multiply their income sources. One of the Transformational Community Development (TCD) members, Anvee,* started beekeeping after training. She had already done a small store business with the help of TCD. Now she wants to start beekeeping, too. Anvee participated in every teaching class given by TCD on beekeeping. Now she is running two businesses and has become self-sustainable.

Goat farming has been a better financial support for Mahita*. The TCD committee found her to be one of the women geniuses who joined the TCD lessons and learned well. Before that she had nothing and suffered from financial problems. Her husband was a laborer, and his income was insufficient for family expenses. She desired to do something, but had no money and no idea. The GHNI TCD committee provided two goats, and she started a goat farm. She was so devoted and worked hard. Now she has twelve goats from two goats. She is very happy and busy taking care of goats. She encourages other people to do TCD if they want to be self-sustainable. Now she has a good income and takes care of family expenses. She is grateful to the TCD team. Looking at the success story of Mahita, the TCD committee is excited to expand TCD in other communities and bring transformation.
