Keeping the local water source clean is a project the whole community can get behind.

A hygienic environment, especially around a sensitive location like the nearby water source, is key to improving and maintaining community health. The environmental sanitation project that was conducted in Yelivo was motivated by the desire to reduce the risk of sickness and diseases.

The Transformational Community Development (TCD) training that members of the community received continues to inspire them to strive for cleanliness as a goal to be pursued for better health in the community.
