The women of Nhoma Village are determined to complete the horticulture project they have begun, but they report that when they had their meetings, participation was low because of challenges for each woman raising their contribution towards the project. The Transformational Community Development (TCD) champion and man of peace, Carlos, went door-to-door to get updates and check on the welfare of the members of the community who usually participate in the TCD meetings.

Another challenge the community has recently faced is that when a villager or someone from a neighboring village has a funeral, it becomes difficult to gather people together. This has significantly slowed down their activities.
