Geeta*, a mother of two children, expressed her bitter experience. She shared that her husband didn’t even come to see and care for her when she had to give birth at the hospital. Other people bought clothes and cared for the baby.

Now she is a committed member of Transformational Community Development (TCD) in our village. She learned the TCD lessons well and committed to moving forward more boldly. She started a small farm with seed money, which helped her to be self-sustainable. She grows vegetables and sells them. This helps her manage her family expenses.
