Time Well Spent

After an extensive survey, the people of Komende are well on their way to a cleaner water source.

A pathway to relief from the problem of relying on an unsanitary water source is finally in view for the members of the Komende community. Thanks to the efforts of Transformational Community Development (TCD) partners, a water company from Freetown, the nation’s capital, visited the village to conduct an intensive geographical survey to find a suitable site for drilling a borehole. An extensive, two-hour-long survey was conducted, inspiring much gratitude from members of the community. After the survey was successfully completed, they proceeded to take some photographs with the workers.
