In Yelivo, there is no stopping the many opportunities that are opening up through Transformational Community Development (TCD) initiatives. These opportunities are being converted to real-time successes and forward momentum for the community. One such opportunity was identified and taken by the TCD Income Generation Committee in Yelivo when they keyed in to a corn trade arrangement set up by a government organization. They are to locally source corn for bags that they will then resell to the organization.

The committee immediately swung into action and secured some bags to resell. The committee will be making a significant profit margin from this arrangement, and they have agreed to use a portion of the profit to help the underprivileged in the community. TCD has unlocked a new level of thinking and creativity that is contributing to sustainable development in Yelivo, making the locals more enthusiastic and committed to TCD.
