In a remarkable display of community spirit and determination, the people of Kassena Point have taken the first steps towards building a proper primary school for their children. Despite facing significant funding challenges, the Transformational Community Development (TCD) Education Committee, backed by the village chief and enthusiastic community members, has embarked on an inspiring initiative to gather raw materials from their local environment.

By dredging the nearby riverbed for sharp sand, the community has demonstrated their resourcefulness and commitment to providing a better future for their children. This grassroots effort is a testament to the power of TCD, where local people take ownership of their challenges and work together to find solutions.
