Convincing community members that a small amount of seed money can lead to lasting happiness is often a challenge. However, through our Transformational Community Development (TCD) training and encouragement, many have embraced self-sustainable practices such as goat keeping, duck farming, vegetable cultivation, and poultry farming.

With dedication, they launched their small businesses—and today, many are seeing real success. Their ventures are thriving and generating profit, bringing visible improvement to their family incomes.

During my recent visit, I met several of these entrepreneurs and was impressed by their progress. One standout example is Sharada*, who used GHNI’s seed money to start a meat and grocery shop. Her business has flourished, becoming a source of inspiration for others in the community. Sharada is now earning more than before and has significantly improved her family’s financial situation.
