Two years ago, a humble Transformational Community Development (TCD) goat project began with a family in Madaba. The project was rooted in hope and the simple dream of building a better life. Through patience and persistence, they nurtured their small herd, striving to grow and make the most of what they had, yet their journey was not without heartbreak. Time and again, newborn goats would not survive beyond a few days, leaving the family carrying quiet grief alongside their determination. Still, they held on, trusting that their efforts and faith would one day be rewarded.

This month, something extraordinary happened. One of their goats gave birth to what they now call “the blessed goat”—a rare and almost miraculous gift. From the very first day of her life, this little one began producing milk, a phenomenon so uncommon it felt like a sign of grace. Not only has she survived, but she is thriving, strong, and full of life. For the family, she is more than just a goat—she is a symbol of hope fulfilled, a reminder that even after hardship, blessings can arrive in the most unexpected and beautiful ways.
