In Baromasia Village, families struggled for years without access to safe drinking water. This month, a simple but powerful change has begun to transform their daily lives. Before this Water Initiative, the villagers of Baromasia had no reliable source of pure water. Women and children often walked long distances to fetch water, which was not always clean and frequently caused sickness.

Through the guidance of Transformational Community Development (TCD), the community came together to install a water motor. Instead of depending on unsafe sources, families now have access to clean water right in their village. This has already reduced health risks and given families more time for work, school, and other responsibilities, showing the strength of sustainable community-led transformation.

Now, the people of Baromasia are healthier and more hopeful for the future. Their story shows how a united community can create lasting change when equipped with the right tools and principles. Clean water is more than just a resource—it is the foundation for a healthier, stronger future. The villagers’ next step is to connect the motor to a wider network of pipes so that all families can enjoy easy access to clean water. For this, they need technical support and resources to complete the pipeline work. With this step, Baromasia hopes to build a stronger, healthier village where every household benefits from safe drinking water.
